Hey guys, Samantha here.  Just wanted to stop by to fill you in on what is happening at the Midst.  We began services on October 13th, 2013 and it seems like we have been going non-stop ever since!  God has been blessing us so very much along this journey.  We started out in suite 403 in the King Centre.  That suite has three rooms.  One room was utilized as the Children’s classroom, one as the coffee/fellowship room and the other as our sanctuary/main worship room.  Now two months later God has been so faithful and provided an additional suite for us to use.  We are still using suite 403 and it has become our Real Life Center which houses the Children’s classrooms, the coffee/fellowship area and we have been able to add a small group area.  Our sanctuary/worship room has been moved across the hall to suite 402.  We are SO excited about this new opportunity God has given us!  This new suite is much larger and we have room to grow.  And it is beautiful!

This past Sunday, December 8th, we had our monthly luncheon and the new Real Life Center was introduced along with the callings that God has placed on our heart to take place there.  The first calling that God has begun to develop is called WOW for Women of Worth.  Sandy Williams introduced us to this calling and shared her vision with us.  This will not be your typical “Women’s Ministry”.  Women of Worth will be focused on seeking God and working to enrich the lives of women in our church and, most importantly, lives of women outside of our church.  Jamie also introduced weekly prayer that we will be beginning in January.  This will take place on Tuesdays from 5-7 pm.  We are going to alternate women’s and men’s prayer nights each week.  The website will be updated weekly with the prayer schedule.

So much is happening and we are trying to keep up with it all!  Check the website often to stay informed with events and new developments.  We want this to be a tool for you to use so comment on posts, events or sermons and use the contact us page if you have any questions or suggestions.  Share the website with your friends and if they don’t have a home church invite them to come visit ours.  Our goal here is to love God and love & serve His people, plain and simple.  We would love to have you worship with us.
